Te Puke and Maketu is a hive of activity with many tourists coming to live and work around the area. Maketu is central to many packhouses and orchards and is also know for its abundance of seafood and great fishing, several local beaches and surfing spots.

Tent/Power Sites: Most sites have power and water. Large grassy sites with established trees offering shade. Free showers, modern communal areas, TV/dining room.

1, 2 and 3-Bedroom Self-Contained Flats: Own bathroom and kitchenette, bottom sheets. Ideal for mates travelling together. Fully self-contained. From $160 per person per week*

Cabins: A range of bedding options for couples or friends. All have basic cutlery, fridge freezer, microwave and cook-top, etc. No bathroom or kitchen sink. Use main camp facilities for dishes, etc. All beds have fitted bottom sheet, duvet and pillow. From $150 per person per week*

Backpacker Bungalows

Ideal for couples. These are a clean, sunny, 1-room stand-alone cabin with a double bed with a single bunk above (duo-bunk) and a single car park right outside your door. Each cabin comes with a full-size fridge/freezer, small cook-top, TV, electric jug, microwave, heater, plates, cups, knives, forks and spoons. There is a bench unit but no sink or running water. Use of the park's kitchen, communal shower and toilet facilities. Each come with 1 car packing space.

Cooking: Basic, no sink
Beds: Duo-bunk (double/single)
Bathroom: None, use the park's facilities
